Change made to Anarchy in the Arena match at AEW Double or Nothing 2024

As previously noted, Eddie Kingston was attacked by The Young Bucks and Jack Perry at the NJPW Resurgence event in Ontario, CA. The angle was meant to build up The Bucks, Perry, and Kazuchika Okada vs. Kingston, Bryan Danielson, and FTR in an Anarchy in the Arena match at the 2024 AEW Double or Nothing PPV event. However, it was reported that Kingston had been hurt during his match at the event.

During the May 15th 2024 edition of AEW Dynamite, The Elite revealed that Kingston was out of the match. At the end of Dynamite, The Elite attacked Harwood which led to Wheeler and Bryan trying to make the save. They were still outnumbered but then Darby Allin attacked The Elite with his skateboard and he was confirmed as Kingston’s replacement for DON.
