Brock Lesnar vs. Gunther could be happening during the summer of 2023

Following their brief interaction in the 2023 men’s Royal Rumble match, WWE Intercontinental champion Gunther stated that a match against Lesnar “is the one that has to happen at some point.” Lesnar later commented on a potential match against Gunther and said “I like the challenge and I like the match-up.”

It appears that Lesnar vs. Gunther could become a reality after Lesnar’s feud with Cody Rhodes is done. Twitter account @WRKDWrestling noted the following…

“While Gunther has publicly stated during interviews that he’d like a match with Brock Lesnar, the idea has been floated backstage to potentially have them face off sometime this summer.”
