Bobby Fish reportedly “done” with AEW as his contract isn’t going to be renewed

Bobby Fish debuted with AEW during the October 6th 2021 edition of Dynamite and after he was reunited with Adam Cole and Kyle O’Reilly, there was a tease of them feuding with The Elite. However, Fish hasn’t competed for the company since the AEW Dark taping on July 13th.

According to Fightful.com, Fish’s AEW contract is coming up and he “will likely be finishing with the company” as his deal isn’t going to be renewed. During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com said the following…

“It’s not probably. He’s (Bobby Fish) done. It’s confirmed he’s done [with AEW]. Whatever the deal was, either he was not offered a renewal or he chose not to be renewed. — He had complained on his podcast about not getting enough matches, so, yeah.” (quote courtesy of WrestlePurists.com)

Fish brought up a conflict with Dax Harwood during his podcast…

“FTR and us, we had a thing, and I won’t really get into the details. But Dax and I got into it, and at the end of the day, we were both able to be professional, completely professional about it, but even if we weren’t, it’s okay! And you could have then put us on TV, that night or the following week, and we would have been professional, but there would have been animosity and there would have been conflict, and still to this day, there probably would be a little bit, And that’s palpable, and that’s money.” (quote courtesy of 411Mania.com)
