Blake Monroe offers relationship advice: “Don’t date wrestlers”
During an interview with TMZ’s Inside The Ropes, WWE star Blake Monroe commented on dating life as a wrestler. Here was the exchange…
TMZ: “Question for you. Speaking of Love Island and dating shows and everything, so WWE backstage, there’s a lot of folks. If you’re single in WWE, you guys are all traveling together. Is it a good place to meet somebody backstage?”
Blake: “Don’t date wrestlers.”
TMZ: “You would never date another wrestler? Is that what you’re saying?”
Blake: “I mean, I might, but I’m just giving a word of advice: just don’t date them. I just feel like the reason wrestlers date each other is because nobody understands our schedule and our business. You’re on the road a lot. What we do is a little provocative, and you kind of have to sell yourself. So I feel like a lot of guys would get jealous if their girl was doing that, and a lot of women might find it hard. It’s like dating, I guess, an NBA player or whatever. It would be hard to do.”
