Bill Goldberg challenges Gunther for Saturday Night’s Main Event on July 12th in Atlanta, GA

As seen during the June 16th 2025 edition of WWE RAW, world heavyweight champion Gunther talked about his future when he was interrupted by Bill Goldberg. Goldberg brought up how Gunther started something with his family in Atlanta (Bad Blood) and he is going to finish it in Atlanta at Saturday Night’s Main Event on July 12th.

Gunther vs. Goldberg for the world title was later confirmed for SNME. As previously noted, this match is expected to be the final one of Goldberg’s career.
