Bill Goldberg teases the location of his WWE retirement match in 2025
As seen during the 2024 WWE Bad Blood PLE, Gunther was involved in a promo segment with WWE Hall of Famer Bill Goldberg. Goldberg later confirmed that he will be having his final match in 2025.
In an interview with mysanantonio.com, Goldberg stated that he was approved for some creative control of the rollout plans. While fans have speculated about Goldberg’s retirement bout potentially taking place at Summerslam in New Jersey, he seemingly ruled that out as he said the following…
“It’s going to be in the South. This gives me the opportunity to put a stamp on my career in front of the people I care the most about.”
While the location hasn’t been confirmed, Fightful.com noted that internal discussions within WWE this week indicate that Goldberg’s farewell could take place in Atlanta, Georgia. Goldberg played for the Atlanta Falcons as a defensive tackle from 1992 to 1994 and would later win the WCW world title from Hollywood Hogan at the Georgia Dome.
