Backstage news regarding one of the match changes at the 2023 AEW All In PPV event

As seen during the 2023 AEW All In PPV event in London, Sting and Darby Allin defeated Swerve Strickland and Christian Cage. AR Fox was originally going to be Swerve’s partner but was replaced by Cage.

According to Fightful Select, AEW had actually planned for Fox to be in the match. Fightful was told that “Fox hasn’t worked international dates since 2016, and the company did not feel like he was forthright about his ability to work outside the country, though we haven’t heard exactly why he couldn’t.” Fightful was also told that “despite being well liked in the company, there was heat on him for the situation.”

There was reportedly discussion in regards to Fox’s status with the Mogul Embassy Affiliates and the decision was ultimately made to remove him from the group.
