Results of Sting/Darby Allin vs. Swerve Strickland/Christian Cage at AEW All In 2023

Sting and Darby Allin vs. Swerve Strickland and Christian Cage in a coffin match took place at AEW All In 2023. Here are the highlights…

* Sting made his entrance to Metallica’s “Seek and Destroy” which was his WCW theme song at one point.

* In the early moments of the match, Darby pulled out thumb tack jackets from the coffin. Sting had a cricket bat that he used on Swerve.

* Christian and Swerve gained the upper hand and Christian tied Darby’s hands behind his back as Swerve choked Sting with the cricket bat. Darby managed to fight off Christian and free his hands.

* Darby avoided a conchairto from Christian and then Sting jumped off the apron with an elbow drop to put Swerve through a table. The crowd chanted “you still got it” at Sting.

* Luchasaurus showed up to help as Christian was on the verge of being put in the coffin. Nick Wayne tried to attack Luchasaurus with a skateboard but Luchasaurus ended up chokeslamming Wayne onto the skateboard. Luchasaurus took Wayne to the back and the match resumed.

* Swerve was laid out on the coffin and Darby went for a coffin drop but Swerve moved out of the way. Sting tried to fight both Christian and Swerve but the numbers game caught up with him.

* Swerve put Sting in the coffin along with Sting’s bat. Swerve closed the coffin but it wasn’t completely closed since Sting blocked it with the bat. Swerve laid Sting on the coffin and went for a 450 splash but Sting moved.

* Darby hit Christian with the TNT title and Sting gave Swerve the scorpion death drop on the coffin. Darby hit the coffin drop on Swerve and then the match ended when Swerve was placed into the coffin and the lid was shut.
