Apparent reason why Samoa Joe didn’t appear at AEW Fan Fest

As previously noted, MJF no-showed his scheduled meet-and-greet appearance during AEW’s Fan Fest on Saturday. Several fans sent in word that Samoa Joe also didn’t show up at the Fan Fest. Bryan Alvarez of F4WOnline.com wrote the following regarding Joe’s absence…

“It appears the situation with Samoa Joe and the Fan Fest was a communication issue, so totally different from whatever is happening with MJF, who did no-show.”

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com had additional information…

“Regarding Samoa Joe missing Fanfest, he was double booked and we’re told it was a miscommunication. One source indicated it was for a voiceover session.”

Joe has a match scheduled against Adam Cole in the men’s Owen Hart tournament final at the 2022 Double or Nothing PPV.

It appears the situation with Samoa Joe and the Fan Fest was a communication issue, so totally different from whatever is happening with MJF, who did no-show.
