AEW tag team reportedly removed from Fight Forever video game

The AEW: Fight Forever console video game is currently available for pre-order and it was recently showcased at the Gamescom 2022 convention in Germany.

According to Fightful Select, one tag team that has been omitted from the game (at least for now) is FTR. It’s believed that the team had been included in the game at least into the “model phase” of development. Fightful also noted the following…

“We’re told that FTR were informed of the call, and weren’t too happy about it, as being involved in video games usually also comes with a significant bonus. We’re told that they were originally set to be included in the game, but by Spring of 2022, had been removed.”

While FTR don’t appear to be part of the “first version” of the game, they could still be added as DLC (downloadable content) in the future.
