AEW reportedly has interest in working with WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley
According to a report from Jon Alba of SI.com, the Legends deal of WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley is set to expire within the next month. Alba stated the following…
“Multiple sources tell The Takedown that AEW has expressed ‘real’ interest in working with Foley this year, though the capacity of which is not known. It was also not certain whether or not the organization would be interested in signing the 60-year-old, or if it would simply be an appearance.”
One source told SI.com that while they had no direct knowledge of Foley being brought in for AEW Double or Nothing at this time, they would not be surprised if there was an internal push to use him if a deal could be reached. However, it remains unclear how far any discussions between the two sides have progressed beyond the initial inquiry.
