AEW news items regarding contracts, Dax Harwood, and Grand Slam ticket sales

Here are a few AEW news items via the Wrestling Observer Newsletter and Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com…

* AEW contracts are similar to WWE in the sense that they are allowed be extended if a talent is out of action. Meltzer noted that “it has happened” in regards to contracts being extended.

* Dax Harwood is said to be working with a torn labrum. Harwood reportedly came out of the 2022 ROH Death Before Dishonor PPV with a swollen eye and a stiff neck in addition to his bad shoulder.

* An estimated 9,676 tickets have been distributed so far for AEW’s return to Arthur Ashe Stadium in Queens, NY. While the ticket sales are down from the first Grand Slam Dynamite show, they are still considered to be good compared to what WWE draws in the New York market.
