AEW news items regarding CM Punk/The Elite, Bryan Danielson, and Adam Cole

Here are a few AEW news items for June 30th 2023 via the Wrestling Observer Newsletter and Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com…

* At the Forbidden Door PPV, CM Punk and The Elite were in separate dressing rooms that were “as far apart as they could have put them.” Meltzer was told that “they were never near each other and there was no interaction.”

* In regards to the illness that caused Adam Cole to miss Forbidden Door, Meltzer noted that Cole had “a fever and severe chills.” Britt Baker, who is dating Cole, also got sick and missed the June 28th 2023 edition of Dynamite.

* There had been talk of a Bryan Danielson vs. Tomohiro Ishii singles match for Dynamite on June 28th but Jon Moxley became Ishii’s new opponent due to Bryan’s arm injury. There were also plans for Bryan to be part of the Blood and Guts match prior to his injury.
