Maya went for quick pin attempts on Mercedes but couldn’t secure the win. Maya tried to apply the Statement Maker, but was unsuccessful. Mercedes was eventually able to slow down Maya’s momentum with a Meteora on the apron followed by another one on the floor.

Maya was on the verge of getting counted out with an apparent wardrobe issue when Mercedes stopped the count. Mercedes got Maya back in the ring and continued to work her over. Mercedes started trash-talking, which led to Maya getting fired up. Maya connected with a shining wizard, but Mercedes was too close to the ropes.

Mercedes regained the advantage and went for the frog splash, but Maya got her knees up. Maya tried to finish off Mercedes, but Mercedes countered with the Statement Maker. Maya reversed it into a pin attempt, but Mercedes kicked out. Maya then sent Mercedes out of the ring with a fallaway slam.

After getting Mercedes back in the ring, Maya hit a senton, but Mercedes kicked out again. Mercedes regained control with a sunset flip powerbomb into the corner. Mercedes hit the Mone Maker, but Maya kicked out. Maya came back with a sunset flip powerbomb to Mercedes on the floor followed by a moonsault.

Back in the ring, Maya hit another moonsault, but Mercedes was still able to kick out. Maya applied the Statement Maker to Mercedes, but Mercedes countered into her own Statement Maker. Maya fought and eventually escaped. However, Mercedes was able to reapply the hold, and Maya finally tapped out.
