Jon Moxley (c) vs. Bandido for the Continental title took place at AEW Forbidden Door 2026. Here are the highlights…

The two taunted each other and played to the crowd in the opening moments. They drew “lines in the sand” and exchanged chops. The fight then spilled to the outside, where they traded dives.

The tide shifted in Moxley’s favor when he gave Bandido a piledriver onto the steel steps, busting him open. Moxley then bit the wound and tore at Bandido’s mask, drawing boos from the crowd.

Bandido managed to get back into the fight with his high-flying offense. Bandido went for the frog splash, but Moxley got his knees up. After the two exchanged kicks, Moxley leveled Bandido with a lariat. Moxley then hit the Death Rider, but Bandido kicked out.

Bandido was able to counter an avalanche Death Rider by biting Moxley. Bandido then connected with an avalanche fallaway slam. Moxley countered the 21 Plex with a bulldog choke, but Bandido powered back to his feet. However, Moxley maintained the hold, and Bandido eventually collapsed and passed out, giving Moxley the victory.

Moxley showed respect to Bandido after the match.
