The two had a feeling-out process that included a test of strength. Omega gained the upper hand, sending Sabre to the outside and hitting a dive over the top rope. Sabre used joint manipulation, but Omega then sent him into the announce desk repeatedly. Omega placed the announce desk lid on Sabre’s chest and delivered a double stomp from the apron. Sabre gained control by applying a submission to Omega on the announce desk. After that, Sabre got Omega back into the ring and focused on Omega’s arm.

Omega was able to fight back, but Sabre slowed his momentum by targeting the injured arm. After the two men exchanged strikes, Omega connected with multiple Snap Dragon suplexes. Sabre countered another attempt with a submission on the injured arm, but Omega reached the ropes.

Omega regained the advantage by connecting with a V-Trigger to Sabre. Sabre countered an avalanche One Winged Angel attempt with a sleeper hold, and both men crashed down to the mat.

After both men got to their feet, Sabre avoided a V-Trigger and nearly pinned Omega. Sabre then hit the Zack Driver, but Omega kicked out again.

After the two exchanged strikes, Omega connected with another V-Trigger. Omega went for the One Winged Angel, but Sabre countered with another submission attempt. Omega managed to power out of the hold and connected with another knee strike. Omega was finally able to hit the One Winged Angel to secure the victory.
