Ongoing WWE SmackDown results for June 5th 2026 from Bologna, Italy

In-Ring promo: The show opened with a Clash in Italy video package. Michael Cole handled commentary alongside Wade Barrett, but they were immediately interrupted by an angry Gunther. Gunther got on the mic and said he wanted justice after his foot was on the bottom rope during his Clash match against Cody Rhodes.

Cody came to the ring and said Gunther was right. Cody offered Gunther a rematch on SmackDown, but Sami Zayn interrupted. After praising his ride-or-die fans, Zayn noted that he has beaten Gunther for championships and asked Cody when he was going to teach him a lesson.

Gunther jumped Cody and applied a sleeper hold, but Zayn actually helped Cody unlike two weeks ago. Cody went for a dive onto Gunther on the outside but accidentally hit Zayn. Cody offered his hand to Zayn, but Zayn walked off.

Backstage: The Miz spoke to Kit Wilson via FaceTime call. Miz went into Danhausen’s laboratory, but was confronted by Danhausen. Miz messed with the equipment and ended up shocking himself.

Backstage: Gunther vented to GM Nick Aldis about not being treated with respect and told him to fix things.

Raquel Rodriguez vs. Bayley vs. Jacy Jayne vs. Kiana James in a Queen of the Ring Tournament match: Bayley nearly beat Jacy Jayne right off the bat with a Bayley-to-Belly. Bayley built up some momentum, but then Raquel took control and dominated the other three opponents. Raquel powerbombed Bayley into Jacy and then double chokeslammed them, but Kiana broke up the pin.

After the break, Jacy shoved Giulia on the outside. Kiana tried to pin Bayley with her feet on the ropes, but Jacy knocked them off. Giulia struck Jacy, but Kiana thought Jacy removed her feet off the ropes. Raquel took advantage and pinned Kiana with the Tejana Bomb.

After the match, Kiana yelled at Giulia and said they were done. Giulia responded by attacking Kiana.

Backstage: Zayn vented to Depressed Johnny Gargano about the situation with Cody. Nick Aldis told Zayn to stay out of Cody and Gunther’s business. Aldis said he had an important meeting with Chad Gable, who appeared on the screen and stared down Zayn before going into Aldis’ office.

Royce Keys vs. Talla Tonga: Royce tried to slam Talla early on but couldn’t lift him. Royce was able to clothesline Talla to the outside.

After the break, Talla gained the advantage, but Royce was eventually able to make a comeback. After another failed attempt, Royce was finally able to slam Talla. After Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga interfered, Talla pinned Royce with a chokeslam.

The MFTs continued the attack on Royce until R-Truth made the save. However, Damian Priest yelled at R-Truth for getting him involved and escorted him away. After Royce was taken out with Tama’s Cutthroat, Solo issued a warning to Royce about being against them.

Backstage: Judgment Day had a pep talk about their upcoming matches. However, Raquel got angry when Liv said that she and Dominik were going to become Queen and King of the Ring.

Backstage: Priest said he doesn’t trust Royce and that R-Truth is the only person he trusts. After Priest left, AAA tag team champions The War Raiders approached R-Truth and said they were ready for a potential champions vs. champions match. R-Truth said he had never met them and walked off.

In-Ring promo: Rhea came to the ring with her knee taped up. Rhea said she was banged up, but Jade Cargill failed to take her out at Clash in Italy. Rhea said she had help from a friend, which led to Charlotte Flair coming down.

Charlotte said she’s had fun with Rhea, but she is now focused on winning Queen of the Ring and facing Rhea at SummerSlam.

U.S. Champion Tiffany Stratton interrupted and said she wants Rhea’s title. Jade Cargill and The Baddies interrupted, with Jade saying she’s coming for what is hers.

Nick Aldis then appeared, and Charlotte offered to team with Tiffany against Jade and Michin. Aldis made the match, as everyone was conveniently in their ring gear.

Charlotte Flair and Tiffany Stratton vs. Jade Cargill and Michin: Charlotte and Tiffany worked well together in the early moments. Jade and Michin eventually gained the advantage over Charlotte until Tiffany got the hot tag. After Jade regained the advantage, Tiffany tried to tag out to Charlotte, but B-Fab interfered. Jade then pinned Tiffany with Jaded.

Backstage: Jacy said she is on a different level and then confronted tag team champions Brie Bella and Paige. The rest of Fatal Influence then jumped them and held up the titles.

Backstage: Royce showed his appreciation for R-Truth. R-Truth said they should get together with Damian Priest to take out the MFTs, but Royce wasn’t convinced they could all work together.

Carmelo Hayes vs. Ricky Saints: Ricky jumped Carmelo before the match officially started, but Carmelo quickly fought back. The encounter went back and forth through the commercial break.

After they traded quick near falls, Ricky hit the Revolution DDT, but Carmelo kicked out. Ricky tried to win by countout, but Carmelo got back in at nine. Carmelo went for a pin, but Ricky reversed it and grabbed the tights for the win.

Backstage: Trick Williams hyped up the King of the Ring tournament but was confronted by Bron Breakker, and the two had a stare down.

Backstage: Chelsea Green told Tiffany Stratton that she would’ve helped her. Tiffany said she didn’t think she needed Chelsea. Chelsea said she needed Tiffany’s support, but Tiffany said she had to go to the trainer’s room.

Lash Legend vs. Chelsea Green: Chelsea used a hit-and-run strategy, but her momentum didn’t last long. Nia Jax attacked Chelsea while the referee’s back was turned. Lash delivered a pump kick, but Chelsea managed to kick out.

Chelsea made a comeback and connected with a dive off the top rope onto both Nia and Lash. Chelsea got Lash back in the ring and continued to build momentum. However, Lash countered the Unpretti-Her and won with the Lash Extension.

Backstage: Solo Sikoa told Royce Keys he comes in peace. He noted that Jacob Fatu is gone and now Solo is the only family Royce has left. Solo said they need to get ready for war and warned Royce not to make things difficult.

Fraxiom had a discussion with AAA Cruiserweight Champion Rey Fenix. Chad Gable spoke to Fenix and owned up to his past mistakes. Chad apologized to Fenix, and Fenix said he forgives him.

Nick Aldis told Cody Rhodes that the rematch with Gunther will take place under a condition that will be revealed next week. Cody said he’ll agree, but he wants the match in Kansas City in two weeks.
