Nick Khan says WWE WrestleMania 43 will still be taking place in Saudi Arabia despite Middle East conflicts

Despite ongoing conflicts in the Middle East, WWE WrestleMania 43 is still expected to take place in Riyadh. While speaking at the SBJ CAA World Congress of Sports in Los Angeles, WWE President Nick Khan stated the following…

“We’re doing WrestleMania next year in Saudi. For the first time ever, WrestleMania will be held outside the United States or Canada. We’ve had a big, fruitful partnership with them.”

Khan noted that the company has found global fans will follow the product regardless of location, driven by media distribution deals and growing international interest. He added, “When we go, it doesn’t have to be only here. Our fans will tune in … no matter where we go.”

Khan also downplayed criticism surrounding WWE’s Saudi Arabia events, describing negative feedback as coming from a “vocal minority” and reiterating that company decisions are driven by “ratings, revenue, and relevancy.”
