Seth Rollins explains why he “can’t watch” the WWE: Unreal series
While speaking to 25 Whistles with Bobby Bones, Seth Rollins gave his thoughts on the Netflix series WWE: Unreal that he participated in for the second season…
“I can’t watch the show. I didn’t watch season one and I wasn’t even in it. I can’t watch it. It, like, makes me feel dirty.
The real-name stuff’s not as bad because, like, the internet. But sharing the behind-the-scenes of how the stories happen and the ins and outs of the industry—that part feels like I’m just not totally comfortable with that. I’m not entirely on board with all of it.
So even having those interviews, I don’t feel myself. I feel myself clamming up, you know? The sit-downs are like, ‘Okay, tell me about this story.’ I’m like, ‘How much do I want them to know, you know?’
So it’s just not for me. I can’t watch it as a fan. If I were just a fan, I would love it. That would be what I dreamed of when I was a kid. Like, tell me the juice. Give me how does all this happen. This is amazing.
You know, that’s what people want. But I think especially us kind of older—anybody that’s been wrestling for longer than 10 years, 5–10 years—it’s just so hard to break that wall.”
