Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson officially honored as a “Disney Legend”

Former WWE Champion Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson was officially honored as a “Disney Legend” at D23, recognizing his work in films including The Game Plan, Jungle Cruise, Moana, and Race to Witch Mountain.

During his emotional acceptance speech, Johnson spotlighted his daughter Simone Johnson (WWE’s former NXT General Manager Ava), who was in attendance. He reminisced about memories from her childhood before leading the crowd in singing “Happy Birthday” to Simone, who turned 25 on August 14th.

Johnson also gave a shout-out to his younger daughters, Jasmine and Tiana, who were watching from home.

Johnson joins the 2026 class of Disney Legends alongside Anne Hathaway, Susan Egan, Alan Tudyk, The Jonas Brothers, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Eric Goldberg, and former Disney CEO Bob Iger.
