Hall of Famer predicts that Powerhouse Hobbs will be “hugely successful” in WWE

It was previously reported that Powerhouse Hobbs’ AEW contract expired at midnight on Thursday. He was removed from AEW’s official roster webpage and is expected to sign with WWE.

While speaking on his podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Eric Bischoff commented on the potential of Hobbs in WWE…

“The likelihood of him being successful in WWE is pretty freaking high with an attitude like that—and having enough confidence in yourself that you’ll walk away from money, probably a lot of it, in order to take a shot at being as big a star as you could potentially be. That takes balls.

And if he’s going to WWE with that attitude, first of all, it tells me he’s in it for more than just the money. That’s what that says to me, and that’s a guy I want on my team. Absolutely. So I think he’s going to be hugely successful.”
