Kazuchika Okada vs. Jon Moxley in the Continental classic tournament final took place at the 2025 AEW Worlds End PPV event. Here are the highlights…

* When the match started, Moxley flipped off Okada. After a brief feeling-out process, Moxley rolled to the outside and regrouped while selling his injured ankle from earlier in the show. After getting back into the ring, Moxley struggled to build momentum against Okada.

* Moxley was eventually able to gain control with a piledriver on Okada. Moxley applied the bulldog choke and went for the Death Rider, but Okada delivered a low blow that the referee didn’t see. Okada then hit the Rainmaker, but Moxley kicked out.

* Okada brought the Continental Championship into the ring, but the referee took it away. With the referee’s back turned, Moxley retaliated by delivering a low blow to Okada.

* After the two traded blows, Moxley hit the Paradigm Shift, but Okada kicked out. Moxley then hit Okada with his own Rainmaker, followed by another Paradigm Shift, but Okada immediately kicked out. Moxley finally put Okada down with a curb stomp, followed by the Death Rider to score the victory.

* After the match, the Death Riders celebrated with Moxley. In a post-match promo, Moxley said the title belongs to all of the competitors in the tournament as well as the fans.
