WWE’s official website seemingly spoils NXT storyline by accident

As seen during the 2025 WWE NXT No Mercy PLE, a masked person helped Jacy Jayne retain the NXT women’s title against Lola Vice. It appears that WWE’s official website accidentally spoiled the storyline with the following message: “Jacy Jayne retained the NXT Women’s Championship thanks to a shocking assist from Lainey Reid.” The line was later edited to, “Jacy Jayne is still the NXT Women’s Champion, but not without some controversy.”

There has been a tease of Reid joining Jayne’s Fatal Influence faction following the departure of Jazmyn Nyx. Reid was pulled from her scheduled match against Speed champion Sol Ruca at No Mercy due to an announced injury.
