Former WWE star Maven helps young fan that suffered a stroke meet Cody Rhodes

In a video published to his YouTube channel, former WWE star Maven posted the following message to his subscribers…

“Hey guys, Maven here, and I need your help. A father recently reached out to me and told me about his son Luke. At just 5 years old, Luke suffered a stroke and almost lost his life. But Luke was strong, Luke was resilient, and Luke would not accept defeat.

This Friday, Luke and his family already have tickets to WWE SmackDown in Norfolk. Luke is a huge fan of the American Nightmare, Cody Rhodes, and it would be a dream of his to meet Cody. Now, I don’t have the contacts I once did in WWE. I don’t have Cody’s number. But I do know the power of this platform. So guys, do your thing. Share this. Send this out. And if enough people get the word out, who knows? Maybe Luke can meet his hero, Cody Rhodes.”

With help from Maven, the fan did get to meet Cody and photos have circulated around social media. The father brought a sign that read, “MAVEN-GREAT SHOUTOUT! – STROKE SURVIVOR – CODY: HERO.”
