Chad Gable makes public announcement regarding his shoulder injury
As seen during the June 23rd 2025 edition of WWE RAW, Penta snapped Chad Gable’s arm in a backstage segment. It was reported that the angle was done to write Gable off television due to a shoulder injury.
In an update, Gable shared a video along with the following public announcement via Instagram…
“Short preview clip of a project I’ve been working on documenting the injury/surgery/recovery. Looking to get the first full piece up for viewing tomorrow. While I continue to work on this stuff, let me know in the comments what kinds of things you would find value in me documenting during the journey. It’s going to be a passion project and I’m sure very uncomfortable at times (already has been haha), but that’ll make it worth it.”
Here is what Gable stated in the video…
“Obviously, there’s never a good time to get injured… but to me, specifically, this timing was especially hurtful because I was on the roll of a lifetime, in my opinion, career-wise… I was having these incredible matches that I’ve been waiting to have with Vikingo, Dragon Lee, Penta, all these awesome luchadors… And, then all of this comes to an end just like… (clicks fingers).” (quote courtesy of WrestlingNews.co)
