Reported reason why Chad Gable was taken out by Penta in a backstage segment on WWE RAW

As seen during the June 23rd 2025 edition of WWE RAW, Penta snapped Chad Gable’s arm in a backstage segment. In regards to why the angle was done, Bodyslam.net noted that Gable is currently dealing with an undisclosed injury.

Bodyslam stated the following…

“The segment was put together to write him off or reduce his workload temporarily while he recovers. No timeline has been given, and no details on the exact nature of the injury have been shared internally beyond ‘undisclosed,’ but it was significant enough to require the change.”
