AEW President Tony Khan issues statement regarding the company’s future with Warner Brothers Discovery

Just prior to the 2024 AEW All Out PPV event, AEW President Tony Khan said the company was “on the 1 yard line at the most important time in our history.” Earlier this month, it was reported that AEW was believed to have a “done deal” with Warner Brothers Discovery for a media rights renewal.

An article from the publication Puck provided new details about the expected renewal and while appearing on Busted Open Radio, AEW President Tony Khan commented on the report…

“Well, I didn’t bring my sunglasses to the Sirus studio today but the future is so bright I need them. I know there have been reports and things that are very interesting. There are a lot of reports and rumors. I have not confirmed and Warner Brothers has not confirmed anything officially… I think we have a really exciting future there.
