Update on Cody Rhodes following injury scare from WWE Smackdown

As seen during the April 26th 2024 edition of WWE Smackdown, Cody Rhodes appeared to have hurt his shoulder in an attempted Cody cutter spot with Carmelo Hayes. According to Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com, the only thing he was told by people in WWE was that no injury has been noted for Rhodes’ shoulder.

Meltzer commented on the matter during Wrestling Observer Radio…

“He’s not listed as injured, they never mentioned it on TV so it’s not a worked injury either, it’s not like some storyline because it was never mentioned. I was told that it’s not listed as an injury, a real injury. So whatever it was it might just be something minor, it might be nothing at all. Fightful.com asked Cody is he was okay from the spot on Smackdown and Cody responded with “always” but didn’t elaborate. The spot can be seen at 5:34 in the video below…
