Update on Jacob Fatu’s status with WWE amidst rumors of him joining The Bloodline
Earlier this month, it was reported that former MLW star Jacob Fatu told people he was heading to WWE. Since then, there has been speculation about Fatu potentially joining the Bloodline faction with Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga.
In an update on Fatu, PWInsider.com is reporting that Fatu is no longer slated to be at the forthcoming WWE Draft related TV tapings despite what was originally expected. It’s believed that a plan is in place to have Fatu join the Bloodline but according to one of PWInsider’s sources, there is no rush on his debut.
During an interview with WrestleRant, Booker T commented on the rumors of Fatu debuting with WWE…
“You know, I’ve been the advocate for Jacob Fatu. I don’t know if you know about it, but maybe six months back, I put out a post that I was doing everything I possibly could to get Jacob Fatu into the WWE. Just because I feel like he deserves to be there. He is truly a talent that we haven’t seen in many, many years. This guy’s really that good. And to be able to work with him up close and personal at Reality of Wrestling has been a joy for me. So, I don’t want to give anything away or anything like that, but I can tell you this: Jacob Fatu, he is definitely gonna make that move. And he’s gonna make that move real soon. Trust me.” (quote courtesy of WrestleZone.com)
