Potential spoiler regarding a sports star making an appearance at WWE Wrestlemania 40

Last week, it was reported by Fightful.com that there were rumblings of retired NFL player Jason Kelce being part of WWE Wrestlemania 40. Kelce played his entire 13-year career for the Philadelphia Eagles.

In regards to the rumors, Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com noted the following…

“PWInsider.com can confirm that Kelce. who retired last month, has been seen in the Philly area over the last several days. Kelce does live in the area, but in asking sources whether Kelce is indeed taking part, one commented, ‘I can’t tell you that, but if he was, you’d think we’d book him to do something physical in the stadium he called home, right?'”

The Miz was recently interviewed by TMZ.com and commented on Kelce possibly wrestling in WWE…

“He could be very dangerous in a WWE ring, not only with just the athleticism and the part of the wrestling, which I think he can absolutely do. I watched him jump up at a Bills game from, like, down and jump up into a window, and I was like, ‘Oh my God, this guy is 300 pounds. How did he do that? That’s incredible.

And then the charisma that we were talking about. The ability to talk on a microphone. Be captivating and innovative is something that I think he has a knack for.”
