WWE Smackdown general manager Nick Aldis has surgery due to injury and issues a statement
On Wednesday, it was reported by Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com that WWE Smackdown general manager Nick Aldis was going to be having surgery due to what was said to be a torn bicep. Johnson later confirmed the nature of the injury…
“Aldis did indeed suffer a torn bicep. We are told by WWE sources he underwent surgery today and is not currently expected to miss any appearances for the company.”
Aldis then issued a statement regarding the surgery…
“Yes, I just got out of surgery for a ruptured bicep tendon, and yes, the sheets had it within minutes. God bless ’em. Must be a slow news day…anyway it was a freak accident, I’m on the mend, and I will continue to fulfill my obligations. #SmackDown”
Aldis last appeared on the March 15th 2024 edition of Smackdown and confirmed that United States champion Logan Paul will defend his title against both Randy Orton and Kevin Owens at Wrestlemania 40.
