News regarding CM Punk being backstage at the WWE Performance Center for NXT

CM Punk appeared at the start of the 2023 WWE NXT Deadline PLE and teased joining the NXT brand instead of RAW or Smackdown. Punk ended up joining the RAW brand.

Despite being part of RAW, it was reported by Fightful.com that CM Punk was backstage at the NXT taping on Tuesday in Orlando, Florida. Punk was said to have been giving talent feedback on matches.

WWE is scheduled to tape next week’s NXT show tonight and Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com noted the following…

“CM Punk is back at the WWE Performance Center today, training and holding court with NXT talents, PWInsider.com has learned. There was a massive genuine excitement at the PC yesterday when Punk surprised everyone by showing up and spending the day with talents.”
