Update on Charlotte Flair following reports of her being injured during the 11/8/23 edition of WWE Smackdown

As previously noted, Charlotte Flair was possibly injured during the December 8th 2023 edition of WWE Smackdown in a match against Asuka. It’s believed that Charlotte was hurt during a commercial break when she slipped from the top rope.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com, Charlotte returned to her home in Florida after being pulled from live events over the weekend. Johnson noted the following about her status…

“WWE sources have indicated that she is not expected back in the ring until she is completely evaluated medically. She has been pulled off the road until the company gets confirmation on the nature of the injury. We are told the company is working on setting that up right now.”

Johnson added that some people are “extremely concerned” the knee injury could be “fairly serious.”
