Details regarding incident at 2023 Forbidden Door media scrum involving Chris Jericho
During the 2023 AEW/NJPW Forbidden Door media scrum, there was an incident involving Chris Jericho. In the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com provided details in regards to what happened.
The incident occurred when Jericho interrupted an interview with Sting in an angle to continue their feud. Jericho knocked a water bottle with his baseball bat into the media area and it ended up hitting someone. John Muse, who has known AEW President Tony Khan for years, was struck in the face from the water bottle and suffered a cut above his eye. Muse was given medical attention and both Khan and Jericho (in private) apologized to him. After being checked out, Muse was able to return to the media scrum.
