Update regarding Edge’s status with WWE following Wrestlemania 37

Both Edge and Sasha Banks are currently being advertised for the July 16th edition of Friday Night Smackdown in Houston, TX which is the first live event of WWE’s return to touring. Neither appearances are being labeled as an “official return” so it’s possible that both of them could appear on Smackdown sooner than July 16th.

Edge has not appeared on television since Wrestlemania 37 due to what is believed to be “planned time off” from the company as noted by Fightful.com. Sasha has also been kept off television as Smackdown women’s champion Bianca Belair has feuded with Bayley.
