More details regarding the WWE NXT cuts from November 1st 2022
As previously noted, WWE reportedly made five cuts to the NXT brand on November 1st 2022. During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com discussed the releases…
“The feeling was that for all the people who were dropped, the main reason was lack of progression – they thought they weren’t improving fast enough. That’s going to be the case – they’re going to be cutting people at the 6-month mark, at the 1-year mark if they’re not progressing at a certain level. Anyone who doesn’t get to TV within two years will get cut. We’re going to get regular developmental cuts. But with Bodhi Hayward, it was more than that. It was the work ethic.” (quote courtesy of WrestlingNews.co)
Sloane Jacobs commented on being released…
“bend, don’t break❤️
no matter what, wrestling will always be my home, from when I was a fan in the crowd to when I was on tv. thank you @wwenxt for helping me learn and grow these past months. now onto whatever is next💞”
