Update on Xavier Woods’ status with WWE after suffering an injury

Xavier Woods suffered an injury to his plantaris muscle of his calf in January and ended up missing the 2022 Royal Rumble PLE.

Woods returned to in-ring action at Saturday night’s WWE live event in Jackson, Mississippi. Woods teamed with Kofi Kingston in a triple threat match against Sheamus/Ridge Holland and The Usos. The Usos ended up picking up the victory.

As previously noted, The New Day was reportedly going to face Sheamus, Holland, and Butch (Pete Dunne) in a match at Wrestlemania 38 prior to Big E breaking his neck.
