We touch on Royal Rumble 2026 Saudi, Royal Rumble: Indianapolis at Lucas Oil Stadium and John Cena’s selling power. Goldberg’s retirement match & will Gage be NIL? Scott Steiner’s son, Brock Rechsteiner, being offered a NIL contract, Tessa Blanchard being dismissed by Deonna Purazzo AND Chelsea Green on social media, Booker T vs. Zilla Fatu at ROW Battle To The Bell 2025 as well as other news items from this last week.

We jump into NXT New Years Evil and discuss the new faces of the Women’s & Men’s division. Giulia, Oba Femi, Trick Williams, Roxanne Perez, Stephanie Vacquer, Fatal Influence, Gigi Dolin, Shotzi, Tatum Paxley and trying to set yourself apart. Eddy Thorpe & Lola Vice earning NXT World & NXT Women’s title shots at weekend live events. Ethan Page’s huge upside and his backstage promo with Ava and The Rock. Speaking of The Rock – did he really need to main event NXT New Years Evil with a non-sensical promo?

We give a SmackDown review and go over the matches and segments that stood out the most. The opening segment with Paul Heyman, Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns declaring via Heyman that he’s entering into the loaded men’s Royal Rumble match. Kevin Owens taunting Cody even more which obviously turns into a brawl. Jacob Fatu & Tama Tonga playing mind games with Paul, Big Jim super kicking the world. LA Knight deciding he’s going to be SmackDown’s bouncer, Chelsea w/ Not So Secret Service Agent Piper Niven once again battling Michin, MCMG vs. Los Garza with the inactive Santos and Elektra (why aren’t they wrestling?), Shinsuke taking on LA Knight once again in which should have been a squash, but was basically just there for Jacob and Tama to get revenge. We discuss MCMG putting on a clinic against A-Town Down Under. We discuss why the women’s Fatal Four Way to become #1 contender to the WWE Women’s Championship was one of the best moments of the show, as well as why the story-progressing tag team main event of Cody Rhodes & Jimmy Uso vs. Jacob Fatu & Tama Tonga had the right finish and was booked properly. We somehow squeeze what little juice SmackDown gave us into a nice big glass of entertainment!
