Xavier Woods expected to miss the 2022 Royal Rumble due to injury

During Thursday night’s G4 Attack of The Show live stream, “King” Xavier Woods announced that he is injured. Woods noted that he hurt the plantaris muscle in his calf while doing a springboard DDT during a match. While Woods was able to finish the match, he is expected to be out of action for at least a month which would make him unavailable for the WWE Royal Rumble premium live event.

Woods competed during last Friday’s Smackdown where him and Kofi Kingston lost to The Usos in a street fight.
