WWE’s Pat McAfee acknowledges AEW President Tony Khan being attacked by The Elite

As seen during the final segment of AEW Dynamite on April 24th 2024, The Elite and Jack Perry attacked AEW President Tony Khan. At Thursday’s NFL Draft, Khan was seen in the Jacksonville Jaguars “war room” wearing a neck brace to sell the attack.

During his coverage of the Draft, WWE announcer Pat McAfee acknowledged Khan being attacked with a “Meltzer driver” on Wednesday night. McAfeee said Khan had a “broken neck” but was battling through it.

McAfee’s co-host Ty Schmit also made a comment about Khan…

“I understand keeping up with the gimmick. Someone should tell Tony Khan that if you have a neck brace on, don’t f*cking move around like nothing’s wrong. Stick with the gimmick and look straight ahead like your neck’s broken.”
