WWE Wrestlemania 19 moment recreated during the 2023 Grand Slam edition of AEW Dynamite
During the September 20th 2023 “Grand Slam” edition of AEW Dynamite, Chris Jericho scored a victory over his longtime teammate Sammy Guevara. After the match, the two hugged but then Guevara kicked Jericho low and joined up with Don Callis.
The post-match angle was a recreation of when Jericho kicked Shawn Michaels low after their WWE Wrestlemania 19 match. Guevara’s ring gear was also a tribute to what Jericho wore at Wrestlemania 19.
