WWE Shop pulls Trick Williams “Lemon Pepper Steppers” t-shirt after receiving fan backlash

WWE released a Trick Williams “Lemon Pepper Steppers” T-shirt on September 21st 2026, featuring his signature white boot surrounded by fried chicken wings.

The design drew criticism from fans on social media, who pointed to longstanding racial stereotypes. Some compared the shirt to WWE’s controversial Jordan Myles/ACH merchandise from 2019.

One of the most widely circulated reactions came from @MeelzTV who wrote, “That Trick Williams shirt is crazy. How did it make it past literally anyone.”

The shirt was removed from WWEShop.com within approximately 24 hours of its release.
