WWE reportedly has “high interest” in Nick Aldis following the 2023 Slammiversary PPV

In April of 2023, it was reported that Triple H was high on Nick Aldis but Aldis was “left out in the cold” once Vince McMahon returned to WWE. Aldis, who was a free agent after leaving the NWA, returned to Impact Wrestling.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com, Aldis’ return to Impact Wrestling has ended following his loss to world champion Alex Shelley at the 2023 Slammiversary PPV. Aldis had reportedly signed a “short-term” deal with the company.

PWInsider noted that numerous WWE sources today confirmed that there is “high interest” in using Aldis now that he is once again a free agent. It’s believed that Aldis’ name has been discussed internally as a potential Producer.
