WWE reportedly considering a change to RAW episodes that follow international events
In recent years, WWE has taped episodes of Smackdown prior to international PLEs such as Crown Jewel instead of airing them live. Twitter/X account PW Nexus (@hashtagPWN) noted the following in regards to a possible change for RAW episodes that follow international events…
“WWE has discussed moving WWE RAW to being taped on a Sunday following an International PLE. (i.e. Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia). This new format would give talent more time to recoup and recover, rather than flying & rushing straight back into TV.
We are told this would mostly be for for international sake if they do decide to carry forward with this idea. I repeat, this is not cleared or approved as of this writing.”
