WWE rep responds to report that The Rock was late for his match at Wrestlemania 40

According to an article on TheWrap.com, two WWE insiders told the outlet that Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson was three hours late for his Wrestlemania 40 tag team match with Roman Reigns against Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins. Chris Legentil, WWE’s executive vice president for talent relations and head of communications, gave the following statement to TheWrap…

“Dwayne was not only on time for Wrestlemania, he was hours early to help with rehearsal — and a pleasure to work with throughout the entire run.”

The Rock did show up late for his appearance at WWE World prior to Wrestlemania 40. TheWrap noted that according to a source, Rock’s late arrival for that appearance was due to other WWE commitments and traffic in Philadelphia.
