WWE RAW viewership for the first show with 2022 football season competition
The September 12th 2022 edition of WWE RAW drew an average of 1.709 million viewers on the USA Network with a 0.44 18-49 demo rating. RAW finished in the 7th, 8th, and 9th spots on cable for the day with competition from the first Monday night football game of the season as well as the Emmy Awards. Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics.com noted the following…
“Monday Night Football’s season premiere (Broncos vs. Seahawks) had a total of 19.8 million viewers and a combined 5.57 P18-49 rating across ESPN, ABC, and ESPN2. The Emmys were also on NBC with a 1.09 demo rating and 5.9 million viewers.”
Here were the hourly numbers:
Hour 1: 1.783 million (0.45 18-49)
Hour 2: 1.821 million (0.48 18-49)
Hour 3: 1.525 million (0.39 18-49)
By comparison, the September 5th 2022 edition of WWE RAW drew an average of 2.094 million viewers on the USA Network with a 0.58 18-49 demo rating.
