The “WWE on FOX” social media account called out for “disrespectful and tone deaf” post

As previously noted, AEW star Mark Briscoe publicly called out the “WWE on FOX” social media account for using The Briscoes’ “DEM BOYZ” term to describe Bobby Lashley and The Street Profits. In addition to Briscoe, former WWE star Maria Kanellis was vocal about the @WWEOnFox post while sharing photos of Mark and Jay Briscoe…

“So disrespectful and tone deaf. These are the only Dem Boyz.

I said what I said and shouldn’t have deleted it. The magic is in the friendships, the memories, and the people you help. The Briscoes have helped and elevated everyone around them. This was from two years ago. There was something about that night, like we knew that was the last match we would all be together.”

A fan commented on Maria’s post and wrote the following…

“Do you have the same energy for AEW using a ‘He’s Him’ shirt and Nick Wayne now being ‘The Prodigy’ … you worked with Rok-C… that one should sting.”

Here was Maria’s response to the fan…

“@RealMikeBennett was The Prodigy in @ringofhonor maybe before Rok-C was born. They talked about it and Mike didn’t care. Not the same.”
