Shawn Michaels announces NXT representative for the WWE United States title tournament
In a video published to WWE’s social media accounts, Shawn Michaels announced that Carmelo Hayes will be representing NXT in the United States title #1 contender tournament. Carmelo will be going up against Grayson Waller in a first round match and the winner of that match will face the winner of Austin Theory vs. Kevin Owens.
Santos Escobar and Bobby Lashley have already advanced in the tournament. The eventual winner will challenge Logan Paul for the title.
