WWE officially confirms the opening and closing matches of Wrestlemania 37 Night 1
On Friday evening, WWE officially confirmed comments from Stephanie McMahon that Sasha Banks vs. Bianca Belair for the Smackdown women’s title will close Night 1 of Wrestlemania 37. Belair wrote the following regarding the news…
“THE BEST BIRTHDAY PRESENT EVER! This is more than just about ME. This is more than just about US. Grateful. Blessed. We are creating History.”

In addition to that, WWE announced that Drew McIntyre vs. Bobby Lashley for the WWE title will open the PPV. There had been talk in recent months about McIntyre being the first person to perform in front of live fans once they were able to return.
