WWE officially announces the acquisition of Lucha Libre AAA

During the WWE WrestleMania 41 Countdown Show, WWE announced its acquisition of Lucha Libre AAA. Founded in 1993 by the late Antonio Pena, the promotion was the original home of stars like Rey Mysterio, Psicosis, Juventud Guerrera, Konnan, and others.

It was confirmed that Worlds Collide, a cross-promotion event between NXT and AAA, will take place on Saturday, June 7th 2025.
